Certified instructor description: No frustrating or difficult yoga positions — this feels more like a “stretch” workout that just happens to use yoga movements. You’ll get all of yoga’s traditional flexibility and stress reduction benefits without the intimidating attitude. Molly knows, and sometimes mentions, the sanskrit terminology. But, she mostly uses easy-to-understand, fitness style cuing (e.g. “a Revolving Warrior is just a lunge with a twist”). Each posture is held for a specific duration — faster-moving for the easier ones, longer and deeper for the more challenging poses. It ends with a gentle relaxation sequence on the floor. A yoga block is optional. ©2011. DVD has: Wide screen.

Molly Fox's Skinny Jeans Deep Flow Yoga

Yoga
I am 68 years old and have been doing yoga for about 20 years now. In my younger days I did the advanced harder yoga tapes but have now switched to the easier ones. This Molly Fox one is just right for me at this stage of my life. There was one or two poses that I had to modify but all in all it is a good CD. - posted by Colleen on 5/10/2012
My favorite
This makes me feel strong and relaxed at the same time. I look forward to doing this video twice a week. What a great teacher Molly is. She is able to direct you from one pose to the next in a easy flow of movement. - posted by diane pickens on 4/19/2012
Above beginner level but I still like it
This is definitely above beginner level if you ask me. I only have done Yoga via my On demand service from Cable and a handful of classes. There are no modification suggestions given so if you are a very literal person just starting out, be careful. However I have a few props and have improvised to my skill/flexibilty level and I have noticed a difference in my flexibility after a few weeks of using the video 2-3x/week. It is challenging but the cool down at the end is really the best I have had outside of a yoga studio. I think the poses are intense and possibly this is why the cooldown feels sooooo relaxing afterwards. - posted by Becky on 3/16/2012
Good for first timers
This is my first "taste" of yoga and I'm glad I chose this one. I find it challenging but not too difficult. - posted by Rita on 2/12/2012
Just enough!
I like this video a lot - worked up a sweat without killing myself. Not sure I'd rate it beginner though, maybe beginner/intermediate. - posted by Jan on 2/9/2012
Nice
A pretty good flowing yoga workout. I am more into Yin, but I did like the calm, meditative aspects to this DVD. - posted by Heather on 1/26/2012
Well sequenced
This video is thoughtful in its choreography. It flows well. The reason for the 3 stars? The instructor. I understand what she is trying to accomplish with her overexaggerated exhales and moans; bringing awareness to the breath and surrending to the pose. Great for beginners to understand the importance of the breath concept; IRRITATING to seasoned practitioners. I gave this one away. - posted by Jan on 12/1/2011
It's ok
The level says beginner, which it is. The clip to me looked like it might have been a little more than that. I'm more of a Bryan Kest 1,2,3 and the Original Power Yoga DVD, type person. This is slow paced and gentle. Good for a beginner, not an experienced yogi. - posted by Lorra Lee on 11/10/2011
Pretty Good
This was good enough, that I kept it, but not the favorite in my collection. Felt pretty good after the workout, but it could have used a warmer, softer atmosphere/set for a yoga workout. - posted by SAF on 11/9/2011
Nice Yoga Practice
I really enjoyed Molly's Skinny Jeans Conditioning with Weights so decided to give this a try. I wasn't disappointed. It's not the usual round of dozens of sun salutations. The poses are held long enough to get the benefit from the work. I felt taller and stretched out when I was finished. I also thoroughly enjoyed Molly's form pointers. Definitely recommend this one. - posted by Elaine on 9/7/2011

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
