Certified instructor description: Three programs: a step-by-step tutorial workout plus two slightly more challenging programs. The unusually detailed cuing makes this a great intro to kettlebell training (Paul is a friendly, experienced teacher who seems to anticipate common errors). The first program focuses on proper form with careful demos of single exercises. The second workout uses those moves in multi-muscle and multi-directional combinations (e.g. a side lunge combined with a bicep curl). The final series is pure abwork; it includes both standing and floor routines. All the sequences are driven by time, not reps (which allows you to correctly do each exercise at your own controlled pace). Requires a kettlebell. ©2012.

Paul Katami's Ultimate Kettlebell for Beginners

Very Happy!
I love this dvd. I agree with the other reviews. Paul Katami's instruction is excellent. The only flaw is that he does not give any advice on the amount of weight your kettlebell should be. I purchased a five pound kettlebell because I already owned a ten pound kettlebell which i think is too heavy for most of the moves. Other than that, it's a great dvd. Very happy with my purchase! - posted by Gayle on 5/9/2013
Great workout.
The perfect dvd for beginners using a kettlebell. You get a great workout at a pace that is easy to follow. Great instructions. - posted by Diana on 5/9/2013
Impressive
I have been working with kettle bells for a couple of years. I learned more from this DVD than all my other sources. Paul is a wonderful teacher. No matter what level you are, this is a worthwhile DVD to work with. I am in my 60's so it is necessary for me to modify some of the exercises. While there are some things I would not attempt, the majority of the exercises are doable. - posted by Jonie on 5/2/2013
A very good work out
I have wanted to do a work out with the Kettle bells. This was a very good work out especially for a beginner. - posted by Sharon on 4/30/2013
This video is great!
Very easy to follow instruction, and most moves are just 30 seconds with a timer at the bottom of the screen. The time just flies by and it makes you feel great!!! - posted by Lynne on 4/18/2013
Excellent Instruction
This is a great kettle bell workout by Paul, with an emphasis on proper form, which is critical. The 28 minute instructional portion is a good workout on its own. I have only done the workout once, yesterday, and I feel it today. Love that. - posted by Sarah on 3/28/2013
Great low impact cardio
I am 54 with sciatica. It is hard for me to find workouts with cardio that don't hurt my back. I found part of the workout On Demand/Infinity. Ordered the DVD & love it. The core section worked my abs in new ways. - posted by Charlene on 3/28/2013
Glad I bought it
This is a good dvd for kettlebells. I found the instruction good with emphasis on good form. Challenging for a beginner. - posted by Lisa on 3/24/2013
Great beginners!!!
I loved this video it had great instructions as I am new to kettle-bells. I liked the count down in the lower right side so you know how much time you have left. You will only need this video for a couple weeks as you progress in your workout you will look for something more challenging. It's a nice video to add into your collection. My only wish is they were longer in length 20-25 mins is too short to feel you got a good workout. Overall I'm happy with this purchase. - posted by Carolyn on 3/14/2013
good kettlebell workout
I really enjoy this workout. It will get your heart going while toning. Some kettlebell workouts can be so repetitive and boring, but this mixes it up and challenges more than just your thighs. Recommended. - posted by Valerie on 3/14/2013

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
