Certified instructor description: Each workout features a different relaxation technique: yoga, tai chi or meditation. It's a comprehensive series that lets you discover the stress-reduction method that works best for you. The yoga program is led by Suzanne Deason and filmed on a quiet beach. It uses poses specifically selected to minimize tension and increase flexibility. The tai chi workout is led by David Dorian Ross and is filmed in the Arizona desert. It utilizes slow, gentle movements that focus on balance and mindfulness. The seated meditation program features peaceful outdoor scenes like clouds and waves. It emphasizes mental calmness and thoughtful breathing ("let your mind be absorbed into your breath"). A yoga block is optional. ©2011. Previously released on VHS in 2000-2002.

Wonderful :)
This video is absolutely fantastic! I loved it from start to end. My boyfriend also did the lower body chi segment with me and he had fun also! Thanks so much, keep up the good work! - posted by Lara on 1/26/2012
Good
I really love the yoga workout on this, and wish it was a lot longer. The setting is gorgeous (Maui, at sunset), and the yoga is relaxing with a good flow. I've been trying to get into meditation for awhile, but am never successful on my own. That portion of the DVD is useful for me, and the time flies by. - posted by Jamie on 10/13/2011
Purchased for meditation purposes
I enjoyed the meditation and yoga portion of this DVD. I'm not a big fan of Thai Chi, so I really can't make a comment on that portion of the tape. I liked the yoga because it wasn't too long and it felt good. - posted by Kirsten on 10/8/2011
Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
