Certified instructor description: By one of the stars of Disney’s “The Cheetah Girls” movie, it features film-quality production and great pop-music tunes (including Sabrina’s “Byou” and “Just Getting Started”). Created for girls 8 to 13, it has the look and energy of MTV without the “all about sex” attitude. Instead, this video is all about dancing, getting fit and feeling good about yourself (“just be you!”). The workout has three sections — the first teaches the moves slowly with lots of repetition. The second uses those same moves in a quicker, less repetitive sequence. The final segment features faster-paced, more choreographed combos (this three-level format makes it easy to grow with the program). DVD also includes an 11-minute step-by-step instructional breakdown, a music video and behind-the-scenes footage. ©2006. DVD has: Chapter menus, Wide screen, Region 1.

Sabrina Bryan's Byou Dance Workout

Cool, Good, OK
“Byou is for everyone. It’s exercise combined with slamming dance steps and some of the hottest music. It doesn’t matter what size you are, Byou is about being comfortable with who you are. It will make you feel better and give you more energy. I love these moves and I can’t wait for you to join in, get fit, and Byou!” -- Sabrina Bryan from the Cheetah - posted by Azu on 6/28/2010

Daughter Loves this Video
I got this video for my 7 year old daughter. The teaching moves did move a little too fast for her but she started using the bonus feature 'Breaking down the moves' and that really helped her learn the moves. Now that she learned the moves she is having a blast with this video. She loves showing me the moves she learned. This video is great exercise for young kids. - posted by Danielle on 1/18/2010
Great Music but Hard to Follow
My granddaughters (12 & 11) LOVE the Cheetah Girls, so I thought this video would get them moving. It was energetic and fun, but the teaching pace of the moves was too quick. We had to go to the bonus features to find a teaching pace that was slow enough to actually learn the steps. - posted by D on 11/22/2009
LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVED IT
one of my fave videos I'm 19 and i love this video its so energetic and I've noticed a change in my body. I've lost some pounds by dancing and the music is GREAATT!!!! - posted by ASHLEY on 11/26/2008
VERY HARD TO FOLLOW
I have been doing aerobics for a long time and my girls sometimes joined me. I thought I would get them a video of there own so I bought this one. It was poorly structured in the sense that the cuiing was non existing. You had no heads up of the following moves. The dancing was fun but you would have to actually sit and learn the routine before actually being able to follow along. I returned it and bought the Keri Anderson video shake and it was awesome. - posted by SONIA on 8/4/2008
Good message but choreography too hard for young ones....
I really liked this video and the B-you message...my girls are 6 & 7 and they like to attempt the moves but really only pick up about every 4 or 5 one. It doesn't seem to bother them too much but it would be better if the "half-time" steps were slower.... - posted by Amy on 2/29/2008

BYOU RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : )
BYou is the best workout video i've ever seen. My sister Keily, my cousin Raven, my other couisin Sabrina, and my Best Freind in the whole world, Sabrina B.,all love it!(both of there names are Sabrina, and all of our names are after THE CHEETAH GIRLS! How cool is that!!!!)It's the best workout video I've ever seen. It's a fun and easy way for girls to get together, have fun, and just be ourselves. It's AWESOME!! It's fun, and extremeley easy for us to do. We've learned all the dance moves and put on productions for our freinds and family. We even put one on for the entire Junior High at our school. It was amazing. Thank you Sabrina for making such a wonderful video for us. It really inspired us to follow our dreams. (Say hi to Addrienne Bailon for me okay. She's my idol : ) - posted by Addrienne B. on 12/19/2007

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
