Certified instructor description: A unique program that incorporates Pilates and kickboxing into faster-than-usual body-sculpting routines. It’s an approach that maximizes variety and interest as it challenges your muscles in new ways. You get four targeted sections — legs, upper-body/core, buns, and abs. They include lots of subtle tempo and technique variations while smoothly rotating among all three styles (e.g. “buns blast” starts with roundhouse kicks on all fours, transitions into a Pilates bridge and ends with X-ertube-intensified leg presses). It’s led by Tracey Mallett, a straight-forward instructor who emphasizes having fun. Filmed outdoors. Requires an X-ertube. ©2006. DVD has: Chapter menus, Wide screen.

Superbody Boot Camp: Firm It

Great Total Body Workout
I really enjoy Tracey's workouts. You get a full body workout and you will see results. The moves are simple but effective and she doesn't go overkill on the reps. Not sure what her hairstyle or clothes have to do with the workout, but if you want a decent toning workout, you might want to try this one. Tracey is one of my new favorite instructors as all of her workouts will work you entire body. - posted by fitnesschick on 3/18/2012
Ok for beginners
I'm a beginning exerciser and this workout barely challenges me. It does, however, target some problem areas that need extra work. It's good to mix up with other workouts. The thing I dislike most is that the cuing is bad. The instructor says what the next movement is, but the camera takes so long to pan out from her face that she has already completed 2 or 3 reps before you see how the movement is done. And there are many sequences when it's impossible to see what the modifier is doing. Also, she has a cutesy voice and style that I find annoying, but that's a personal preference. - posted by Rochester on 6/6/2010
A great DVD!
Tracey, is an excellent instructor who provides fun and safe workouts for all fitness levels. This dvd was a great toning video and breaks down each workout into components of a standing leg workout, a short toning upper body workout using the band and a lower body floor workout then lastly, a great ab workout. It was a fun workout that flew and a great toning dvd! - posted by Vivian on 12/17/2009
Good intentions but...
horrible cue-ing, no prepping, moves are cued as they happen, chopped cinematography so the instructors are often off and the viewer has to adjust. Very unpleasant, amateurish feel. - posted by Marguerite on 12/31/2008
Great Work Out
This is a great workout - Tracey is very motivating. I got a very good work out and was dripping with sweat at the end. I highly recommend this video. - posted by Tina on 4/10/2008
One of my favorites
The first thing you will notice is the silly camouflage outfits, which will lull you into a false sense of security that this will be easy. Don't be fooled! This is fun but tough and very effective. My butt, especially, felt it for two days afterward. I am an intermediate exerciser but the lower body band work targeted muscles in my hips I didn't know I had. Though I prefer shorter workouts, this one flew by from chapter to chapter. I even watched the bonus promo for the Palm Springs hotel where it was shot because I didn't want it to end! - posted by Pam on 4/9/2008
Love it!!
I was so suprised that I like this video so much. It's got some really nice unusual exercises. Tracey is very up beat and her abs keep me going. I love Kick Butt Legs great combination of basic strenth training and Pilates but at an aerobic pace. The abs secion is challenging but I like to feel the FAT BURNING. Worth the money as you get a nice long video that you can do in sections if you're short on time. Don't like the guys in the back the girls kick their butt. Tracey has become one of my favorite instructors. - posted by Kim from DC on 3/11/2008
I Liked This One
I put off buying this DVD for the longest time, because I read some so-so reviews. I finally caved and discovered that I really like this workout. The instructor has great Aussie energy. She didn't annoy me one bit, though I laughed a little at the pantaloons she and the exercisers wore. I'm an intermediate-advanced exerciser who is a sucker for bootcamp and interval workouts, and this workout is perfect for days I don't have a lot of energy but need a fun, fast-moving workout to inspire me to exercise. Good production values, too. My only regret is that I waited so long to buy this one. - posted by Michelle E. on 1/7/2008
Girl got abs
I love her voice its cute and the girl must be doing something right with those abs and all. I have her video she has alot of energy and a fun, joyfull spirit plus the exercises are right on. - posted by Chaz on 6/26/2007

Actually REALLY good
After reading the 2 reviews, I wasn't sure what to think about this DVD. But I was surprised to find that "Firm It" actually gave a really great workout. You can do one section by itself for a quickie workout, or you can do them all for a tough total-body workout. I recommend trying this DVD. You will not be disappointed. - posted by M.C. on 4/10/2007

Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
