Certified instructor description: A high-energy fat-burner led by an enthusiastic instructor. It’s upbeat and fun with lots of variety — the steps range from traditional aerobic favorites to moderately challenging Latin dance. Susan Tuttle keeps you motivated with a passionate personality and limited instruction (she simply cues the move and the direction — you get to focus on the music and the motion). The first section is slightly less dancy and a little faster paced. The second lowers the tempo — but boosts the complexity — with more challenging steps like “salsa circle” “rhumba box” and “the bachata” (this segment ends with a near-toning series of knee lifts, squats and lunges). Lively, authentic Latin vocal soundtrack. ©2011. DVD has: Wide screen.

I was very disappointed in this video. I wish that I could return it. The moves were not cued in a way a beginner could follow and then more moves were added the same way. I would not purchase any of her work outs because the explanation was poor and the dvd was more like a regular work out not a dance work out. - posted by Bobbie on 5/17/2012
Great video!
I absolutely love this dvd, it's not too slow, not too fast, just right for any age. Love it! - posted by Lise on 5/3/2012
Susan Tuttle's
This dvd is excellent, I absolutely love everything about it, not too fast, not too slow, I'm 59 yrs old and can do this several times a week. I would highly recommend this one for sure, unless you're really out of shape. - posted by Lise on 4/27/2012
"LATINA FUN DANCE BLAST!"
Being a Latin Music Lover, and having taught aerobic dance 8 years ago, I only wish I could have taught this workout! It's so well cued by Susan Tuttle, she is easy to follow as well as her dancers behind her. She demonstrates the steps slowly before incorporating them into the routine and if you don't get them right away you will very soon. The music is so motivating, done at a moderate pace so you get a good aerobic workout without having to stop and review the steps. I HIGHLY recommend this Spicy Latin Dance DVD to all you lovers of Latin music and dance! HAVE FUN! & THANKS SUSAN, YOU ARE A GREAT INSTRUCTOR! - posted by Patty on 1/19/2012

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
