Certified instructor description: It’s traditional Tae Bo in a fast/slow aerobic-interval format. You’ll optimize fat burning in the “burst” segments while still keeping your heart rate up in the “recovery” sections. It’s a technique that maximizes motivation and encourages correct form (because you can master the moves at the slower tempo). As always, Billy’s cuing is positive, energetic and easy to follow. Includes all the Tae Bo classics like kicks, jabs, traveling kicks, jumping jacks and roundhouse kicks. DVD features a 14-minute Tae Bo tutorial. ©2010. DVD has: Wide screen.

Tae Bo: Billy's Bootcamp Cardio Inferno

Great
I really enjoy working out with Billy. He makes it fun! - posted by Jeannette on 5/10/2012
everyone standing around too much while he preaches
I have a number of billy's workouts. I like a couple of them a lot. this one is a waste of money. he talks and talks and talks while standing around and not instructing. as a result, everyone else is standing around waiting for him. he lost me in this one. very disappointed. I added weighted gloves and kept moving while he and the rest were not. that's the only way to work up a sweat in this one. - posted by cathefan on 1/29/2012
It's Billy...
I have the original Tae Bo tapes but I like the boot camp series the best. It's like he's in your living room standing right next to you encouraging you to do more and I love it ..I don't like that he says "one more time" and you end up doing it 5 more times ..lol. This one is a great cardio workout with a few new moves added. You also get a side order of toning love handles and saddle bags. Sometimes he does talk and you have to keep moving on your own but it's nothing major. Regardless of what anyone says about Billy's workouts there's no denying that when the workout is complete, you feel worked out and because of that I will always buy his tapes. For both current and future Billy fans I don't see where you'd be disappointed - posted by Nicole on 1/17/2012
not super high intensity but still a good workout
There are definitely some higher intensity, more advanced Tae Bo DVDs, but this one is fun and does get your heart rate up. The moves are pretty much typical Tae Bo. I tend to use this DVD on lighter days, and I incorporate one-pound wrist weights. I'm a 41 year-old intermediate/advanced exerciser 6-7 days per week. This DVD is a keeper for me. - posted by Jennifer B. on 9/4/2011
tae bo cardio inferno
Love billy blanks and love tae bo. I have several of his dvds. I do like this one. He has other video's that are more difficult, but I still sweat like crazy and get a good workout! It is good to switch up workouts anyway!! I recommend this dvd and all other tae bo dvds as well...switch em' up!! Tae bo is great and will get you in shape!!!! Just do it!!! - posted by kelly on 5/11/2011
Cardio Inferno
I have several Billy Blanks workouts and I did enjoy this workout. He keeps you moving! I like high intensity workouts!! - posted by Denise on 4/16/2011
Push it!
I noticed I work up a good sweat if I push myself harder & go even lower w/the workouts. My only downfall are the lunges! - posted by Linda on 4/13/2011
Not his best
Although Billy's dvd's are always awesome, this video had its faults because he stopped a lot during moves to teach form, which allows your heart rate to drop. Also, their is significantly less punches and jabs so I don't understand how this one is more "cardio" I did jumping jacks while he was talking to get my heart rate up. Also, the workout is more focused on kicks and leg work. It is good for the lighter days. - posted by Amanda on 4/13/2011
LOVE IT FOREVER
My 14 year old loves this workout. She came home today overjoyed that she received an A+ in PE. She had been struggling with push-ups, she could never get past 8. She has only done it 4 times. It helped with her breathing between all of the other 6 or so exercises along with the 1 mile run. It worked for her and she loves it. - posted by Leghistla on 3/24/2011
okay
He has done better. I enjoy the pep talks, but this is much even for him. And I thought the time duration was the workout. - posted by marisa on 3/12/2011

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
