Time graph for Tae Bo T3: The Power Within Set
From Billy's newest infomercial. It includes five DVDs plus two unique Tae Bo T3 handweights. The 20-minute instructional DVD teaches you T3's eight basic moves. You'll perfect your technique with the next program, "Ignition." It begins with a 50-minute practice session and ends with a 10-minute workout. That's followed by "Acceleration," an all-fat-burning workout that features faster/slower cardio circuits. Next, it's "Transformation" -- aero/tone intervals that engage your lower body and core as they raises your heart rate. The last DVD, "Target," uses the T3 weights to boost effectiveness. Each of its six segments tones a specific body part (triceps, chest/shoulders, back, legs, butt and abs). Throughout every workout, Billy is exceptionally focused on effectiveness and proper form. The one-pound T3 handweights are ergonomically design for comfort and safety. Set also includes two booklets and a wrist band. ©2008. DVD has: Chapter menus, Region 1.

Tae Bo T3: The Power Within Set

Good Workout
I have every set billy blanks has put on the market. My favorites are the get ripped, advance live and total series. While this set does not have the same intensity as the older workouts, they are still solid workouts. Having to touch your ankle while doing knee raises really forces you to use your abs. The squat kicks are killers on my glutes and thighs. I am intermediate to advance exerciser so I only use target tae bo, acceleration and transformation. My only complaint is the review of the moves at the beginning of the workouts. This instruction is not needed since the set has a 50 and 20 min instructional. In the future I would like Billy to return to the type of music he used in the past. He should realize that many of his die hard followers are closer to his age and enjoyed rocking out to old school music. In my opinion this is what made the live series so awesome especially #4 and #6!!!!!!!! If they re-released that series on dvd it would outsell this one. - posted by Lisa on 7/12/2008

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.

Chapter menus
X
You can play only the individual workout segments you want by picking them off a chapter menu (one at a time).
Region 1
X
This DVD is designed for US and Canadian DVD players. It will NOT play in most foreign country players.
Level
X
Beginner: Just starting out, very overweight or haven't exercised in over six months.

Intermediate: Active in sports, dance or any regular exercise (2 to 3 times per week).

Advanced: Very active in sports or consistently work out four or more times per week.

Aerobics impact
X
Lower Impact: Both feet never leave the ground at the same time. This minimizes stress on your knees.

Higher Impact: Includes movements like jumps, hops and skips. Very high-impact is called plyometrics.

Mixed Impact: This alternates or combines the above styles.

Aerobics choreography
X
Basic: The easiest to follow. It ranges from simple walking-style marches to sports and athletic movements.

Complex: More intricate combinations and patterns. They're ideal for people who like to dance.

Moderate: More interesting than Basic, less dancy than Complex.

Toning emphasis
X
Upper body: Arms, chest and back.

Lower Body: Legs, thighs, hips and buttocks.

Abs: Abdominals (stomach), core and sometimes lower back.

Total body: Tones all three of the above muscle groups.

Floor aerobics & toning
X
Definition: Includes two workout activities. The aerobics segments are fast-paced standing movements like marching, dancing and jumping. These segments require no equipment. The toning sections are slow, controlled movements working against a resistance. These may include Pilates and weight training.

Benefits: The combination of both activities provides a balanced workout. The aerobics burns calories, strengthens your heart and increases stamina. The toning builds lean muscles, increases your metabolism and makes everyday activities easier.
