Certified instructor description: A surprisingly challenging short workout by the 1993 IDEA Instructor of the Year (and the first “Buns of Steel” video star). This program just never slows down — from the fast-paced warm-up right through the extra-intense “cardio blasts” (explosive plyometric hops and jumps). Throughout, there’s a special focus on contracting your abs to build core strength and improve balance. Tamilee consistently cues ahead, so you’ll always know what’s coming. And she uses well-structured progressions so you’ll always have a familiar “base move” to return back to. Quick-tempo music, a bright set and excellent production. DVD includes a “bonus” 10-minute buns workout. ©2002. (35 min.). DVD has: Chapter menus, Music only option.

Tamilee Webb's Tighter Assets Cardio Blast

STILL love this
I have had this workout for 8+ years and still pull it out every couple of months or so. I have close to 60 workouts and this is the PERFECT cardio vid to do when I am way too sore from a hard weight workout the day before. The pace is great, and it really works your core & glutes. It IS what you put into though, so if you keep the energy up the entire way through you will get a great workout. LOVE IT. - posted by April on 1/17/2012
Very nice video
Tamilee hits another homer with this video. I loved the pace. It's a great add on to a longer video. Great cueing on Tamilee's part and the workout was well structure. It's a keeper. - posted by Tipi on 10/9/2011
Love this video!
This is a great 30 minute cardio video. It is a full body workout and has low impact cardio with some higher impact plyometrics. I have bad knees and usually stick to low impact, but these higher impact moves are easily doable or can be modified. A great workout for after work or other times when you don't have a lot of time. I will buy more of Tamilee's workouts. - posted by pamela on 9/24/2011
Good travel cardio workout
I bought the DVD because I already had the video and this one is worth upgrading! It's a good cardio workout in a short amount of time. It's good for travel too. - posted by Mary on 7/4/2011
decent but not a heart pounder
At first I was not crazy about this video but it has grown on me. After doing a lot of cardio this one didn't seem to get my heart rate up very much. As I have learned the routing more I am able to put more into it by going deeper, faster etc... to make it more cardio. There are some dance moves to learn that may take a couple of times watching to get. I wish she cut out some of the marching and added some higher cardio moves. Not a long tape but good for when you want a lighter or short workout. Probably not for the more advanced cardio seekers, more beginning- intermediate. - posted by lynn on 5/19/2011
tighter asset
Tamilee, was little bit hard to follow, but Tamilee is still strong because alot of her moves were for your buttocks and stomach. I WOULD GET ANOTHER TAPE. - posted by Diane Benson on 5/12/2011
Tighter Assets
Love Tamilee's theories on exercise and stretching, but i must admit i was a little disappointed with this one..I guess i was hoping for a better, harder workout push, and this one kind of felt like an extended warmup! I do like her workouts though... I've worked out for many years, and thought i'd try something different, but, like i say, i was disappointed in this one.. - posted by Tracy on 5/5/2011
WOW! I AM SWEATING BULLETS!!!
Just completed Tamilee's "Tighter Assets" video and the sweat is dripping down my face, chest, and arms. This is my first video and I have to say it won't be my last. She really gives you cardio blasts like the title says. My movement was a little awkward (Tamilee and her exercisers were well-cued) but I kept on moving. This is a good workout when you are short on time and need a boost. - posted by Andrea on 4/23/2011
Very good quick workout!
I always look forward to this one! It's simple but not boring and I just have a lot of fun doing it. If you put a lot into it, you'll get a lot out of it in a short time. It's perfect for a quick cardio workout, I do feel like I did something for those days you don't have time or energy to do something "killer". I didn't give it a 5 just because I wish she didn't bring the pace down in the last segment. When there's also a cool-down, I don't get the point of making the last section easier. This is easily fixed by adding a little of my own intensity to the last section. All things considered I love the workout and Tamilee! - posted by Soledad on 2/27/2011
fun
Tamilee Webb is appealing. She chooses pretty colors and a tranquil set. She is upbeat and likable. I enjoyed the workout, even though some of the moves were a little awkward for me...(might have been easier on an uncarpeted floor). - posted by Julie on 2/25/2011

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.
sample time graph
Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.

Chapter menus
X
You can play only the individual workout segments you want by picking them off a chapter menu (one at a time).
Music only option

This feature allows you to play only the music, without any cuing (after you’ve learned the movements and you just want to do the workout without listening to the instruction).
