Tamilee Webb's Total Stretch

Best Stretching Video!!
I absolutely love this video! I constantly reach for this one after a good cardio workout. The scenery is gorgeous and relaxing and Tamilee's voice is very calming. She explains each stretch thoroughly and emphasizes "to do what is comfortable for you...eventually, you will get more flexible." I've seen a tremendous difference in my stength and it has helped me hold yoga poses longer. This is a staple in my collection and I really believe I've had no injuries because of the effectiveness of these stretches. Way to go Tamilee!!! - posted by Dori on 3/4/2010
A Must Have
I've had this dvd now for a few years and never tire of it. It's great for advanced and beginners alike. I'm int/adv. but very tight in my back and hamstrings and this just feels wonderful after a workout or a long day. Whether you choose one of the 10 minute stretches or the 30 minute one you can't go wrong. The scenery is beautiful. Tamilee is encouraging and calming. Perfect addition to any fitness library. - posted by jf on 1/3/2010
A Great Add-On After Working Out
This is a great stretch DVD. Oftentimes, DVD's have little or no stretching after a workout so I will either stretch on my own or use this DVD. Tamilee has a great personality and the stretches are doable. I recommend it. - posted by Kenya on 12/27/2009
Totally stretched, relaxed and toasty warm.
I bought this to add to my exercise video collection because I never feel they stretch me enough. I encourage everyone to do the same. Tamilee gives a calming total body stretch in both segments. I also have hip muscle tightness like she does so I appreciate the attention she pays to that area. I am also one of those people who gets cold easily and this dvd totally warmed me up! Great relaxation benefit. - posted by Ink on 11/17/2009
Basic BEGINNER stretch-great add on
First off, this is a BEGINNER program. I purchased this DVD for those days when I'm super sore after a workout and want a more targeted stretch than yoga offers. The first time I used the 30 min. workout I was greatly disappointed. I felt that it stretched nothing. However, I tried one of the 10 min. sections after my workout as a cool down/ stretch and found that it hit all of the major muscle groups (so many DVDs really give you a half a** stretch segment). If your more flexible, don't follow Tamilee, but push to your level in order to find just the right spot. Again, a great way to cool down and relax after a tough workout. - posted by Megan on 9/4/2009
Favorite by far!
I do this DVD after every workout (at least 5 times a week). It is fantastic, and I've noticed significant improvements in my flexibility. I injured my back 10 years ago and this DVD has helped me regain flexibility in my back and legs. It is so satisfying to stretch my muscles without fearing that I'm going to "pop" something! Tamilee is an excellent instructor, and does a fantastic job of motivating you to push without EVER being annoying. Aside from all the benefits of stretching, you will feel like you took a little vacation, as the DVD is filmed in a gorgeous location with very soothing music. I feel like a noodle when I'm done. There are 3 different 10 minute stretches, and then one totally different 30 minute stretch (which is the one that I now do). This is the first time I've ever reviewed a DVD here (and I have many) but I must share my joy at finding this last year. I wish she'd make another one, but I can honestly say that I don't ever get tired of doing this. It's the DVD that just keeps on giving... - posted by Cam on 8/12/2009
A basic no one should miss
I love this dvd. It's simple to follow, the scene is beautiful and Tamilee explains every position in a good way, I did not feel uncomfortable at all (I have back problems)but I think some reviewers that say it's not good for your lower back are not warming enough or forcing too much certain positions. This workout gives you a good stretch in half the time others need. - posted by Gabytopo on 7/3/2009
great dvd!
I really love this dvd, I do at least one or more sections after my workouts and find myself looking forward to it while I'm working out. Sometimes I'll just do a warmup section of one of my other dvds just so I'll be warmed up enough to do this dvd. It's especially nice to do in the evenings as it's so relaxing and your body feels great afterwards. It's ironic because I've found most of the yoga dvds I've tried either boring or irritating but I come back to this simple stretching dvd time and again. - posted by Evelyn on 3/12/2009
it's ok
This video is ok. Tamilee is her usual sweet self. She kind of got to me asking "do you feel that?" all the time. However, the stretches are good and you do "feel them". I didn't really care for the first program-breaking it up into 3 ten minute segments-standing stretches, using a chair and then on the mat. I prefer one continuous stretch. either standing or on the floor. Oh, and she could've done a little less talking. Maybe I would've felt better about the video if it had voice over cueing. - posted by carmen on 3/4/2009
A must have for your video collection!
This video shows you how to effectively stretch without the awkwardness of yoga poses. I highly recommend getting this video to complete your collection. Excellent cueing and attractive scenery. - posted by Lisa on 2/3/2009

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
