Tamilee Webb's Total Stretch |
This is a MUST for Everyone! |
| Wow! All the positive reviews are accurate. Total Stetch is great--it covers every single muscle, every part of the body. There were even stretches that I haven't seen that stretch easily forgotten muscles like the hands and wrists and deltoids and adducters and neck. Beginners, don't be afraid to try this-if you're inflexible, you'll get more flexible with this video. And if you're advanced, don't overlook this one because I'm a former dancer and quite flexible, and I loved this video and got a lot out of it. Also, I don't pay too much attention to the set for a video, but this one is fabulous. The setting is calming and so beautiful that you feel like you've gone a tropical vacation after you're finished. And Tammy is so professional in this video-she seems poised and comfortable in her own skin. She's consice and thorough throughout. If you have tight hamstrings, stiff hips or stiff back, you'll love this. A tip for anyone getting this: the stretching section using the chair can also be done on a stablity ball, and it works very well in helping your core and balance at the same time. If you choose to buy this video, don't do what I did--I completely missed the second workout, "Beginners Stretch for Flexibility" because at the end of the first workout, the credits roll as if the whole video is over. Silly me didn't discover the other workout until later. This video is a must for everyone at any level--you won't regret it! - posted by Stacey on 6/21/2008 |

    loved it |
| I am 'new' to using stretch dvds. I finally gave up on yoga, I am NOT flexible enough for anything but gentle yoga; and as a christian I feel guilty about listening to and doing 'eastern philosophy' workouts. Tamilee is very easy to follow, learn, and understand. And...with stretch videos, I am gradually becoming more flexible. Tamilee is great, dont change a thing! - posted by vanessa on 5/19/2008 |

    Great break from yoga |
| I bought this DVD because I was a little tired of doing yoga on my stretch days. I love Tamilee -- she's been a favorite since the old Buns of Steel days. Her softspoken cuing is great for a stretch video. I especially like the second "Flexibility" workout on the tape. It's 30 minutes that flow with some good stretches, and the ending relaxation part is nice. I've done the shorter stretches after other videos that don't have a good stretch at the end. This is now a part of my weekly rotation. (The waterfowl in the background is a nice touch!) - posted by Lilly on 4/21/2008 |

    best stretch video |
| This is the best stretch video (and a have quite a few). I feel great after doing it. The 30 minute stretch has about 10 min gentle stretches with about 20 minutes on the floor, it is just a great relaxing yet highly effective stretch. She holds the stretches for long enough to breath into them and effectively stretch. The other section has 3 10 minute stretches, I like the 10 min floor stretch so much I do it reguarly after work when changing clothes, just to transition from work and relax. If I want a longer floor only stretch, I do the 10 min floor followed by the 20 minute floor portion from the 30 min stretch (can easily fast forward through 10 min standing portion). It's a predominatly athletic stretch with a few good yoga light standing stretches. Buy it, you won't be sorry. It's by far my most used stretch video. - posted by Lynn on 3/31/2008 |

    I Love This |
| I love this video the stretches are great. I have had a back injury and i need stretches as i easily get stiff. I loved that theres 10 minute sections that you can do quickly if you cant go longer and an depending on your health or mood there is a standing sitting and floor 10 minute stretch so theres one for everybody. But then when your feeling you can go longer theres another long stretching workout on here. Its a nice setting she has a good personality. Some people skip strecthing but i think its very important and everyone should do it .Love the video, most definitly recommend. - posted by MK on 3/25/2008 |

    Only OK |
| I have a bad back, and I actually didn't think the DVD was that great. I didn't like Tamilee's choice of stretches and thought some of them were kind of awkward. One night I remember that my lower back felt worse than when I started! If it works for you, though, that's really good. Her voice is soothing and the set was beautiful. I do feel more relaxed when I go through the second program before bed, but I have to be VERY careful. - posted by Julie on 3/11/2008 |

Love the Stretches Hate the DVD |
| This DVD is very frustrating. It stalls, it skips, it plays all the stretches when all you want is to play one. Fortunately, I still have stretches on the original VHS tapes. I may return this DVD. The stretches are great! I use the Beginners stretch after my workout since most workout tapes only stretch you for 3-5 minutes. I'm pretty disappointed with this DVD. - posted by Josie on 1/30/2008 |

    Love this DVD!! |
| My husband has an arthritic condition in his spine and neck and is very stiff. We have been stretching each morning before work. We really appreciate the two short stretch workouts on this DVD. They are gentle enough for him, but still present some challenge for me. Very Good! - posted by Debbie on 10/24/2007 |

    Excellent |
| I really love this video. (I have the DVD version which has both stretch workouts.) The background is very soothing and peaceful, as is her voice, and it is perfect for a short (or longer)stretching session after a walk/hike or workout. Also nice to just do a section before bed for relaxation or when my back is a little tight and needs a bit of stretching. The only suggestion I would make for improvement is to hold the stretches for longer (I often pause it and hold them longer on my own on some of them.) Sometimes I am just beginning to release the tightness and she's on to the next when I am just beginning to settle into the stretch. Tamilee, if you are reading these, I would recommend creating a similar video with longer holds to the stretches, I would definitely buy it! I would still highly recommend this one. - posted by RB on 8/10/2007 |

    Good Stretch Program |
| This is a good stretch program for after any vigorous workout -especially when you don't feel like doing a difficult or longer yoga workout. It will help prevent muscle soreness and improve flexibility and coordination. - posted by Karla on 5/24/2007 |
