Time graph for Tank Top Arms, Bikini Belly, Boy Shorts Bottom
You get four targeted sections, each one is a mix of classic toning and “fun/funky” alternatives. Three of the 13 to 17-minute segments focus on a specific area: upper body, abs or buttocks (the fourth segment shapes your entire body). Minna Lessig uses lots of proven/traditional routines, but she’s not afraid to include some playful variations (e.g. gym-style deltoid flies are followed by bellydancer-style shoulder shimmies). Each section also features two intensity levels — a slow, controlled series, then a faster-paced, more challenging sequence. Excellent cuing and lots of friendly encouragement. Requires two sets of dumbbells (e.g. 2 lb. and 5 lb.). ©2007. DVD has: Chapter menus, Music only option, Region 1.

Eye Catching Title Doesn't Disappoint
I thought it might be risky getting a dvd with a cutesy name like this--perhaps it would be all packaging and no substance. However, I really enjoyed it and was sore for two days afterward. I'm 47 and a former dancer, so I appreciated the fact that Minna included some toning exercises you might see in a jazz class. Others did not like that, but they don't realize how much toning you can get with these exercises-they added variety to otherwise monotonous weight training videos you usually see. Minna also implemented some ballet inspired leg toning moves. It's refreshing to get moves like this. You CAN tone your butt without using weights! But don't get me wrong, this is not a dancey video. It's true, the ab section was very different and tough, but it was great not doing the regular traditional ab exercises. Minna definitely challenges your body and shocks your muscles into waking up to something different. These are not stale moves- I like that. I also like how she uses compound moves and a variety of styles all intertwined together. I agree with the others about the getting up and down from the floor. At 47, I would rather do all the floor work at one time, but the getting up and down wasn't too excessive. - posted by Stacey on 6/11/2008
Not An Intermediate Workout
I would call this a beginner workout. It is pretty simple and doesn't work too many muscle groups. Minna is positive but she wants to "demonstrate" every move before doing it. Too much wasted time. I also agree that there is a lot of picking up weights, putting them down, now to the floor, and then back up again. I never felt challenged or that I was working very hard. - posted by Tanya on 6/7/2008
Not bad but not that good either
I like Minna but i didnt like the flow in this dvd, in one instant you are picking up weights, lying on the mat, standing up, doing the "ballerina pose" or doing the "funky" moves !!!. Its too much time wasted in btw exercises. She is sunny and encourages you but the flow makes it irritating after a some time. - posted by Kat on 6/4/2008
Ok
This workout was ok but I guess I expected more. I didn't care for the her reference to "tank top arms" repeatedly and I didn't care for the up and down on the floor. I prefer to be standing and then get on the floor. - posted by Mary on 5/28/2008
recommend it
I've been using this DVD for about 2 weeks now, alternating the full workout with the shorter total body routine. I can definitely tell a difference. It is not a vigorous, intense workout - if that's what you like - but it is fun to do, and it works. Now, if I could just give up the chocolate.... - posted by chris on 5/10/2008
Good But Not Very Challenging
Maybe I was just expecting more, but this workout isn't all that challenging. I don't see how it can be rated "intermediate". Minna has a great attitude and I do like her as an instructor but I was disappointed with this video. - posted by Kelli on 4/25/2008
Awesome!
I thought this workout was a blast. Unique, fun exercises. This is a strong intermediate level. I found myself wanting to do the whole workout just to see what interesting exercises will come up next. Highly recommend. - posted by Christy on 4/3/2008
Total body that you will feel the next day
I love this workout. Her cueing is excellent and the exersizes flow well. I definitely see myself using this and increasing the weights as I get stronger. - posted by Elisa on 3/23/2008
Mostly Good
I like minna lessig as an instructor. She has a relaxed method of demonstrating which is easy to follow. For the most part i can recommend this dvd. Her arms, total body and glutes sections are good. I was not impressed however with her abs section as i never felt anything in my abs during or after the exercises and always end up going back to tamilee webb's "I want those abs". In addition, she does tend to skip a lot between floor exercises and standing exercises which does break down a lot of the flow. - posted by dawn on 3/23/2008
I love the DVD
I absolutely love this workout. I am 47 and have just started to work out and try to get back into shape. I also use the treadmill. I think Minna is pleasant and fun to work out with. I love the 15 min segments it doesn't get boring. - posted by Sherri on 2/25/2008

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
