Certified instructor description: These fast-paced, yoga-inspired moves all have a distinct muscle-toning emphasis. No yoga “spirituality” here — Bob Harper keeps the focus on body-changing results (you’ll be sweating, just like the TV show contestants on this DVD). The video has three levels — you can start with a basic 34-minute workout or advance to the 51 or 61-minute pre-programmed options. The first section is classic yoga. The second integrates core-targeted Pilates moves. The third uses dumbbells for maximum intensity (e.g. bicep curls during a Warrior pose). Detailed instruction and no-nonsense encouragement. Requires 1 to 5 lb. dumbbells; a medicine ball is optional. ©2008. DVD has: 3 premixes (30 to 50 min. alternate workouts), Programmable chapters, Close captions, Region 1.

The Biggest Loser: Weight Loss Yoga

Good for beginners too
I've never really done any yoga, but I found this easy to follow. Don't mistake that statement for easy to do though! It's a hard workout, but worth it - my abs felt it the next day! This is one video that I think I'll be able to keep working on for a long time and continue to see results. - posted by Michelle on 9/11/2011
A Good Non-Traditional Yoga Video
I have done this DVD within the past few weeks and I must say that I liked it. It's challenging enough without making it too difficult workout. - posted by Marie on 7/14/2011
Love Weight Loss Yoga
I love this DVD. I feel so amazing after, probably because "something's cooking" as Bob says (I love this man-he's so adorable and funny). I've noticed a difference in my arms and my legs. My thighs seem slimmer and firmer than they used to be. Bob is very clear with his cueing, which allows me to not have to look up at the TV after every pose to see what's coming next; he tells you. I'm so glad that I bought this DVD. It's not really spiritual, it's more of a focus on your body and the way you feel. I highly recommend this workout. - posted by Melissa on 5/12/2011
Linda
i love this workout. It took me three weeks to move up to level 2 but I enjoyed every minute of it. I can now do almost all of the moves (sometimes I need a little child pose)! I will keep this in my rotation for years to come! I am trying to lose 50 pounds and it really helped me get strong. I am 47 years old and also walk 4 miles a day now as well as use a weight lifting program 3-4 days a week. i actually look forward to doing this 4-5 times per week! - posted by Fabulous! on 4/12/2011
Awesome DVD
I have been working out with this dvd for such a long time and have always got great results. It really gets you sweating. It is basically all about your strength. Bob has such a soothing voice and something just works when he is teaching a workout. Love it! Love it! - posted by Megan on 3/21/2011

Excellent
This is one excellent DVD. Bob is amazing, motivating and it really works. Thank you. Love it. - posted by Kristina on 10/22/2010
Results!
I have completed the maximum results menu on this dvd. Level 1 for two weeks. Level 1, 2 for two weeks. Level 1, 2, and 3 for two weeks. I have lost a total of 10 pounds in 6 weeks. I did this dvd five days a week. I went down 4 inches around my chest. I dropped 2 inches off my jean size. If you stick with it and keep a food journal, you will see results!! GREAT DVD!! - posted by Kristin on 8/3/2010
Yoga for Body Strength
I have been doing this workout for about a month now. I split the workouts up and add one to the end of my weight or cardio workouts. It is working. My strength has improved, my arms are very toned and my legs and core get worked. . Bob does a good job to motivate me and the moves do work. I am glad I bought this DVD. - posted by Teresa on 7/14/2010
Excellent...BUT...
Okay. I've never done yoga before and I got this DVD because my boss swears by it and she looks amazing. THIS IS SOOO HARD! The cuing is excellent, the instruction is good and the yoga is great (so are the results). But this is where I think I'm high maintenance: I CAN'T STAND BOB'S VOICE and I think he's silly. I don't know how else to put it but once I figure out how to do all of these yoga poses in the correct sequence and for the right amount of time, I'm turning the sound off so I don't have to listen to him. - posted by Shannon on 6/26/2010

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.

Premixes
X
These are alternate workouts created by the manufacturer. They use the same content as the main program (i.e. the very same video footage). But the sections are re-edited into pre-made alternative workouts that you select from a menu. These are often condensed versions of the main workout.
Programmable chapters
X
At the beginning of your workout, you can select the exact segments you want to play that day. The DVD will then play all those segments in the order you chose.
