The Firm: Bootcamp 3-in-1 |
    Nice Addition |
| At 42 minutes and 37 minutes, these two shorter additions to my collection are appreciated. Both are effective but short enough to fit nicely into that smaller time window and long enough to feel like I actually worked out (some of the 25 minute workouts are just too short to make them worth the effort). Several instructors per video, segmented from various prior FIRM offerings, with all the great FIRM cueing and sets. Both workouts hit all the major muscle groups, and throw in a little aerobic activity at the beginning. This disc is a welcome addition to my (always growing) FIRM library. - posted by Amy on 9/23/2010 |

    One of the Best! |
| The "original" Firm workouts have always been my favorites, and easily rank as among the best on the market. These compilations, created by the late Anna Benson, are always double-tough, but do-able, and give the fastest results possible. I recommend that people buy these while they still can. They have a style and class that are truly unique. I treasure my original Firm collection, and will always use it gratefully. - posted by Myra on 4/21/2010 |

    Older but still effective! |
| Forget using this in its long extended mix, but it's *great* for 2 short total body strength routines. I pretty much only do 30-40 minute workouts these days and these fit the bill perfectly. Yes, it's an old compilation (mansion sets, music, hair, clothes) but the old Firms were the BEST and still give great results! - posted by Claire on 9/15/2009 |

I'd give it no stars if I could |
| The music was just awful, you could see the boom not only above the instructor but in the mirror sometimes, (very poor planning there), Much is made of the mansion sets but I don't see why. And the instructors! They are so stilted and stiff and they all talk with a sing-songy quality. I keep trying to like the Firm as I see people talking about how much they like the workouts but I guess I am just not a fan - posted by Nancy on 7/28/2009 |

Fantastic short Firm compilation workouts |
| If you are a Firm Believer familiar with Total Body Shaping Mix, this DVD contains two workouts that are basically shorter versions of the Total Body Shaping Mix workout. Workout One features the tough squat, barbell, and leg press sections from The Tortoise workout with Tracie Long and the T-row lat routine from Firm Strength (a.k.a Strong Body) with Pam Cauthen; Workout Two features the lat row, triceps kickback, and bicep curl sections from the Tortoise workout. The cardio in both workouts is done with a 2-lb. medicine ball. After having done Total Body Shaping Mix on Sunday, it was nice, yesterday, to do the first workout on this DVD and feel as worked out as I did after Total Body Shaping without being as drenched in sweat. I look forward to doing Workout two this evening. Bravo, Firm! Note: The "third" workout on this DVD, a combination of the two shorter workouts (sans the abs, stretch, and cool down from workout one and the warm up and stretch from workout two) comes in at 71 minutes. If you want a longer workout, rather than do the combined workouts, I suggest simply doing Total Body Shaping Mix, which comes in at 67 minutes. - posted by Joy on 7/22/2008 |

The actual weights work out is decent but... |
| The photography is bad, you can see the boom in some scenes. The music is awful and way too loud and it is confusing on just how you are to combine the workouts into one seamless whole. I ended up skipping around looking for what I hadn't done yet. (Perhaps because it was my first time I missed soemthing)? They have also just taken bits and peices from several Firm Dvd's and put them together, some you can tell very old by the way outdated leotards no one wears any more. That said it did workout all the muscle groups real well. One last thing, the "mansion set" is always mentioned in discriptions and I don't actually ever find that to be anything but kind of uninspired really. I guess I just don't get why that is supposed to be so great... - posted by Nancy on 5/10/2008 |

    don't waste your money |
| I like a few others was really excited to see a new Firm dvd since I have tons and love them, sadly this is just old things tossed together. horrible queing, bad sound, you'll be staring at the camera and the mic in the scene the majority of the time bc its the only thing distracting you from some horrible early 90s fashion. really don't waste your money. i've been an avid Firm fan since the Fannie Lifter came out and have come to expect a certain quality workout and rarely have been let down-but this was definitly not worth my time. - posted by Jen on 3/9/2008 |

| Good Value, Solid Workout |
| A solid sculpting workout using all traditional and classic Firm moves, and using a variety of some of my all time favourite Firm workouts. My gripe is that some of the cardio segments seemed like an afterthought -- for example they had a super-easy segment from a Firm Basic Sculpting with Weights title featuring Tracie Long that doesn't get the HR up or do anything other than bore someone trying to get into the workout. I also find to feel it the next day I HAVE to heavy up more than usual on all the moves vs. what I usually do (except leg press) given the high variety but lack of reps, AND I feel it's a waste of time for an inter/adv excerciser unless you do the whole 70 minutes. That said it does have a fun factor, as I love walking down memory lane with all my favourite Firm instructors -- and it is a more efficient & effective sculpt (IMO) than the Firm "Split" workouts. - posted by Sam on 4/11/2007 |

| Terrible sound |
| Thought the sound track was horrible. The music was too loud and the voices not loud enough. Some of it contains session from old video. - posted by T on 1/24/2007 |
