Time graph for Treadmill Challengers
It’s like a stationary bicycle “spinning” class on your treadmill. You get four progressively more intense intervals and a friendly, down-to-earth instructor. The on-screen countdown clock and intensity/speed indicator graph help you stay motivated and always exactly on pace. Throughout the entire program, the instructors’ attitude is always supportive and non-intimidating (“run relaxed”). Only the speed is varied in this program so it does not require a power incline treadmill. ©2003.

Treadmill Challengers

Great training!
If you need motivation to use your treadmill this is the video to do it. It's a challenging workout but you do it at your own pace - you choose your starting pace and work up from there. The teacher is good at motivating you to keep going. Just when I thought I would give up and slow it down he would say "Your legs should be really burning now, that's good, keep going." And I did! It was tough but I will definitely use this video at least twice a week. I can't wait for my stamina and speed to get better and better! - posted by Ariel in California on 4/7/2008
Great training workout
I have been training for many years - both cardio and body building. Running was always a part of that training - usually on a treadmill with just my heart rate monitor for company. I usually enjoy working out but the treadmill was starting to get to be a bit of a chore and a slog and I know that I was not putting in the effort that I should. So that is why I was pleased to try out this DVD. VERY good for anyone of any level and it's amazing how fast the time flies when you're in the thick of it!! Well worth the money. - posted by Tiggy on 3/9/2008
Not Sure...So Glad I Did
I was leary about purchasing this, but wow, am I glad I did! What a blast! I thought it would be lame watching other people on treadmills, but there is something about the timing and the instructor that really keep you motivated and challenged. - posted by Julie on 6/23/2007
Great For Walkers Too
I generally walk on my treadmill but have a tendency to shorten my workout because of boredom. Not anymore! This DVD has really pumped up the volume on my workouts. It's completely adjustable to your level and pushes you beyond your normal boundary. It might even make a runner out of me. - posted by Tammy on 4/26/2007

Great Workout
I hadn't done any running for a month or so and decided to purchase this DVD. My "training pace" was pretty low (intentionally) so that I could complete the 40-minute workout. It really did go by fast and it challenged me even at my lower pace. I can imagine as I get back in better shape and have a higher training pace it will still be a challenge. - posted by Geri on 5/7/2006
Love this video!
i still can't do the whole thing with my regular running pace. HAHA! No matter what your fitness level, you can modify to make this workout challenging! - posted by on 3/6/2006
Provides motivation to ramp up your treadmill workout
This tape encourages a really good workout on the treadmill. I generally watch TV or movies at a fairly even pace while on the treadmill. This tape made me pick up the pace and push myself a little more. - posted by on 12/5/2005
LOVE IT!
I got this for my whole family to use and I have to say that the fights over TV have dissapeared. Now their fighting over who gets to use the tredmill. It's gotten my Overwight 16 year daughter in fantastic shape! WE HIKE NOW! - posted by Kay on 2/16/2005
Totally Hooked!
I'm a treadmill runner. I exercise very early in the morning. Since I found Treadmill Challengers to run with, I'm hooked on running as my only form of aerobic exercise. I push myself harder each time I run. You can adjust the intensity of each workout to fit your needs. I really recommend this program for anyone who runs on a treadmill and wants a great workout! - posted by Jane on 8/24/2004

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
