Certified instructor description: The workout begins with a fast-paced aero/tone section and ends with rebounder-enhanced body-sculpting. As always, it’s Patrick’s enthusiastic personality that makes it both energizing and fun. The aero/tone segment uses the mini-tramp in every possible dimension (e.g. up, on, over, across ... repeaters, side steps, taps...). It’s all fast paced -- even the "toning" segments -- but Patrick does include some less intense recovery sections. The body-sculpting exercises all incorporate the rebounder. Sometimes, it’s simply a platform (e.g. “plank pushups with your hands on the rebounder). Other times, the mini-tramp’s reactive surface is utilized to increase the exercise’s balance and resistance elements. This video is also included in the 13-DVD set. Requires 1 to 3 lb. dumbbells (they use sand-filled-bag weights). ©2011. DVD has: Wide screen.

Urban Rebound Strength Cardio Interval-Patrick G.

Pretty GOOD
This was pretty good. High intensity and he is very pleasant to watch. Wasn't impressed with him also going to the one person on right but work out was good. Did give me a burst of energy. Felt like I had a great workout when done. One other problem - kind of strange how one part you could see the camera man in front taping. But all and all it was a good hard intense workout. - posted by Denise on 8/11/2011
Too extreme!
I love Patrick and as usual, his style in this workout is awesome! He laughs and chuckles all through the workout, cues great, and has a great rapport with the class. I really liked quite a bit of this workout. I have a problem with jumping on the rebounder (it's 10 inches!) and too dangerous to me, I almost got caught on the "skirt" and went flying. I couldn't jump on and over and jump again and over fast, so I just did it at my own pace. I love the rebounder for the cardio workout I get on the rebounder (the benefit of the low impact) but too many of these Extreme Rebounder workouts are done off the rebounder, and/or jumping off the rebounder on to the floor instead of jumping on the rebounder. That seems backwards to me as far as getting the full effect and enjoyment of a rebounder, what makes it different. I still love Patrick, though, you could not find a better instructor! - posted by Cheryl on 8/1/2011
I love Patrick Goudeau!
This video provided one of the toughest yet motivating and fun workouts ever! I am 59 years old and have been working out for many decades. I have slowed down a bit and lost some flexibility but all of the Patrick Goudeau videos I have used make me feel young, happy, and full of energy. Urban rebounding is so much fun and different and Patrick always keeps me challenged. I love his "round the clock" pushups. His moves that are normally done on a step are so much fun on the trampoline! Of course his cuing and his demonstrations always are right at the correct time and include differing levels of executing the moves. I love how he combines the cardio with the strength training which eliminates the "dread factor" of what is still to come because you already just did in combination! He his always so good humored and is so supportive and just keeps me going and laughing! Even though sometimes I get frustrated that I can't move as fast or jump as high, I still love the challenge and have alot of fun and feel GREAT when I am done. If you want an intense, fun, and effective, fat burning, calorie blasting, and joyful workout experience, I recommend this and other Patrick Goudaeu workouts. He's got our backs! - posted by Sharon on 7/25/2011
Patrick is a real Professional
I purchased the 13 urx-mt dvd set and Patrick is my favorite. He knows how to push you and make it fun. It's hard for me to get my heart rate up on the rebounder. Patrick really does it for me with his unique combinations. He has a great skill of motivating you without the get in your face attitude. I love you Patrick!!! Heart rate monitor said my high was 170 and my average heart rate was 140. Quite a good workout. - posted by Michele on 7/2/2011
Give it a chance!!!
I'm so glad I tried this workout a second time because I HATED it the first time I did it. There is a bit of a learning curve, so please be very careful the first time through. There are some tricky moves. If you're not used to stepping and jumping on and off the rebounder, preview and try those moves slowly before you try to follow along. Once I did this, I absolutely loved the workout. It's challenging but fun, so the time just flies by! - posted by Sally on 6/14/2011
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE
This is the BEST urban rebounder workout. Patrick rocks and I have NEVER sweat so much. Very doeable and FUN!!! - posted by Allison on 6/9/2011
Fun and tough!
I have been waiting for new rebounder workouts for a long time. I did purchase the whole set, but did this one first. As usual Patrick is fun , encouraging and presents new ways to work your core. The first half is good cardio, the second half is mainly core. The cardio left me sweaty and happy! The core workout had new moves that will take some work to do. Overall very happy with it and recommend it for rebounder and Patrick fans! - posted by Patti on 5/28/2011
Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
