Certified instructor description: Thirteen tough rebounder workouts on 13 DVDs. Definitely not for beginners, these programs will seriously challenge your strength and stamina. The aerobic sections feature high altitude/high energy jumps designed for maximize fat-burning (motivating moves that would be hard on your knees and back -- if their impact wasn't totally absorbed by the rebounder). The toning exercises are sometimes done as separate "intervals" and sometimes blended right into the cardio (e.g. bicep curls as you jump). They range from traditional body-sculpting to newer Pilates, functional fitness and balance routines (often utilizing the rebounder's unstable surface to increase intensity). Each of the seven instructors demonstrates their own moves and style. Amy Bento leads a kickbox and a boot camp program. Gay Gasper and Patrick Goudeau each teach two interval workouts. Keli Roberts instructs two toning-oriented videos. Greg Sims has an interval and a yoga-style workout. Greg Cook leads two interval programs (one uses a resistance band). J.B. Burns teaches an interval video. Workouts requires 1 to 3 lb. dumbbells (they use sand-filled-bag weights). ©2011. DVD has:

    EXCELLENT WORKOUTS!! |
| I recently purchased the program and have used most of the DVDs already. The instructors are excellent and the workouts are all highly motivating and challenging. JB Burns is amazing as always and each teacher is very talented and inspiring. I wish I could meet JB Burns and tell him how he has transformed my life! I would love to be in one of the DVDS!! :) The music is fantastic and I look forward to continuing with the program. I hope JB Burns makes even more DVDs in the future. - posted by Celeste Vaughan on 9/11/2011 |

    Good and Bad |
| I am a rebounding fanatic and have every video ever made including the first rebounding series produced by JB Berns years ago. Loved that series but wished for new and more challenging videos.
I like that these videos are tough and have a variety of instructors. Rebounding has something called “G force” which means you get a better workout doing anything on a rebounder. So overall this set is solid. But I had hoped for better strength training on the rebounder and less high impact moves off the rebounder on the ground. Many of the strength training sets are off the rebounder or partially off the rebounder…sort of defeats the purpose of buying a rebounder to take advantage of the G force.
I have a real problem with a few of the short shorts and other hip hop type clothing the women wear and especially the guys doing the routine without any shirts on at all. From a marketing perspective it’s not very smart to only appeal to a small demographic (young and immodest I’m assuming?) and risk offending any demographic. I have children and teenagers at home who are in the house while I exercise and I don’t appreciate that many of the exercisers are dressed inappropriately (or not dressed like several of the male exercisers).
Not to mention the language. I did the Amy Bento DVD TV while my kids were home. Unfortunately, Ms. Bento mentioned “working your ass off” three times before I turned the DVD off. Guess I’ll save that one for the rare occasions when kids aren’t in the house.
Other dislikes include they recycled the music from the older JB Berns videos so if you’ve done those to death the music will make you crazy. I can’t believe they went to the trouble to produce these videos and cheaped out on the music.
If you can get past the offense it is a good workout…very challenging. Especially if you are a regular exerciser who needs intermed to adv. routines. - posted by Deb on 8/25/2011 |

    Very Good Workouts |
| I am enjoying my set. I was a little hesitant to order d/t cost of set. However, they are all done by different and very effective trainers and well worth the money. It is fun in a very exhausting way to exercise on the "trampoline". I have no regrets over this purchase and believe I will use these for a very long time. - posted by Lesa on 8/5/2011 |

    Disappointed |
| I did send this one back. I was very disappointed with it. I love rebounding, and have been doing it, along with other aerobic exercises, for years. Since there aren't that many DVD's for rebounding, I was thrilled that one that was JB Berns-inspired was out. I did like JB's routine. But the rest did not use the rebounder as a mini trampoline much at all. Routines were mixed, with most exercises that could be done without a trampoline. Not what I was looking for. - posted by Vickie on 7/20/2011 |

    Great Set! |
| So far I have only done 6 of the set, and very happy with the purchase. Gay Gasper's Total Body Metabolic Strength Conditioning will be a favorite, along with Patrick Goudeau's. Gregg Cook is tough, and JB Berns is awesome, making me smile while rebounding away. The only one I did not like so far was Amy Bento's Kick Box Metabolic Interval, while the workout is good, her cueing is awful and her talk vulgar which I don't appreciate. I will continue to work through all of them, and report back. If you like rebounding, this is a great advanced series to add to your rotation! - posted by Patti on 6/22/2011 |

    Oh My Goodness!!! |
| I have only done one of the videos and let me tell you I was exhausted when I was done. I have done just about every type of exercise there is and this was difficult for me. I have a partial knee replacement on one knee and the urban rebounder is definitely easier on it. I don't feel the popping or grinding on the rebounder. It is definitely worth a try!!! - posted by Missy on 5/20/2011 |
