Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred |
    Great workout/Skip the ads for biggest looser!!!!!! |
| I am a regular video exerciser and certified (since 1990) group exercise instructor. I also work as a nurse and look for videos that I can get in prior to my shifts. I love the format of aerobics, strength and abdominal/core work. Great workouts that are just under 30 minutes but feel complete. Since it is a 30 day shred I have done one a day since 1-1-12 and do feel stronger. Like Jillians instruction-minimal talk and direct workout. Only complaints:Hate the ads for the biggest looser-there is no way to get to the workout without watching these, can fast forward but not skip. Also don't need her intro-again can not fast forward thru it. Also wish there were diet guidelines for a 30 day "shred" program. Would definitely recommend to other video junkies despite these two complaints. In all a great efficient workout. - posted by Colleen on 1/26/2012 |

| What can I say? It's Jillian. No complaints on this workout or any other Jillian workout I've purchased except that she's crazy ..lol.. Crazy about making sure that you get the results she promised. I like how she breaks down the sections. I like the 3-2-1 weights, cardio, abs except I'd like a longer ab section but hey I can make that up on one of my ab tapes afterwards. I also like that she puts a twist on basic exercise moves and works multiple body parts at once and mixes toning with cardio. Jillian is fun and interactive, a little rough around the edges but so am I so she doesn't offend me in the least bit. I just want a good workout. Sometimes I like to do multiple workout tapes for 1 to 2 hrs and other times I just want a quick 20 - 30 minute workout so this tape fits right in. I've worked out for just about 30 years, way back in the days of Gil and Ada. I do weights, cardio, step, pilates, yoga, kickboxing, belly dancing and so forth.     Love this DVD |
| This was my first Jillian DVD and it got me hooked. I had to restart my 30 days halfway through because I had a death in the family that derailed me but I saw huge results regardless. I lost about ten pounds, 2 bra sizes and a pant size. I also got major toning in my legs. I only got some toning in my arms but those take forever to tone so that was me not the DVD. | I am officially a new Jillian fan! I am a fitness instructor and I have been teaching for 15 years. I find Jillian to be motivating. Her cueing is very good and she gives you different options to modify the exercises (this is very important for me). I have seen results on my body and I'm happy to have found this video.     Awesome DVD |
| I love this 30 day shred DVD. I know complain about the ads/programs but at that time it gets you ready to get situated, like myself that I have a two year old. I love this DVD with no complaints people want to see results in day 2 not happening it takes time and effort. Remember it's hard to shred weight off but to gain is quick. I lost 5 pounds in a week and still working on it.     Good workout once you get past all the talking! |
| I like this video, my only issue is how much she talks at the beginning of it, especially before the menu loads. I mean, it would be fine if you could fast forward through it. but you can't! So what should be a 27 minute workout takes 32 minutes to complete because you have to wait for her to do her shpiel before you can exercise. So annoying! Once you get past that she kicks your butt in to shape with lots of high impact cardio, strength training and ab work. Overall not a bad workout. - posted by Sandra on 12/1/2011 |

    Great workout, but... |
| First time working out with a video from Jillian. Have been doing Jari Love's ripped workouts. Like the instructor and the workout, but here is my issue. I do not want to wait through the introduction every time I use the DVD. I am trying to use these short workouts as a warmup before a longer step workout, or as a good quicky workout on days when I just don't have an hour, but I find myself avoiding the DVD more and more because I haven't found a way to skip the explanation lecture. Instructors should realize that people who buy videos are either going to use them over and over and don't need the instructions each time, or they are going to quit--and don't need the instructions each time. - posted by Janet collier on 10/27/2011 |

    I like it! |
| While I don't like Jillian as an instructor, I do like her 3-2-1 system-3 minutes of resistance, 2 minutes of cardio and 1 minute abs. The short, to the point, workouts are great and challenging, but do-able. If you are short on time and want big results, this is a good dvd to have in your library! - posted by Luisa on 9/29/2011 |

    Get Off Your Butt |
| I am 54 years old. I used Jillian's 30 day shred for 4 months faithfully 3 to 5 times a week. Level one. I wieghed 235lbs, got down to 197. I am currently at 205 and work out to that video 2 to 3 times a week and I get tons of compliments on how I look. especially at my age. Its awesome. thanks Jillian.
