Qualifications: Varied training in Modern (Horton & Graham), jazz, hip-hop, and street-jazz dance. Received her early training in Toronto from the Claude Watson School of the Arts, the Toronto Dance Theatre, and Randolph Dance Theatre. Continued training in New York at the Alvin Ailey Dance Center.

Personal History: My background and training are based in dance, but I believe that the key to fitness is finding something that you enjoy. Merging dance with fitness is the perfect marriage of sports and arts.

Workout Philosophy: Always the extreme, never in between.

Success Story: Myriam from New York, NY: She was over 50 years of age and had never danced in her life. After being introduced to Deante Dance, she lost over 15 pounds, lowered her cholesterol (after discovering for the first time that she was in the danger zone), and discovered a new love for dance. It's a joy to watch her dance, because she seems to lose herself in the movement and journey to a different world.
