Qualifications: Consultant to the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. Author of two books on the subject of good nutrition and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Personal History: Matthew started practicing Tai Chi and Qigong in 1991 and since then has worked with several teachers including Alan Higgins, Harry Simmons, Peter Warr, Huang Jifu, Li De Yin, Luke Shepherd and Patrick Kelly.  He established The Devon School Of Tai Chi in 1999 and Tai Chi Nation in 2007, has produced 4 best selling DVDs and published books in 4 countries.  Currently Matthew teaches trainee instructors and oversees the development of Tai Chi Nation via it's courses and onine projects.

Working with clients such as Unilever, Roche, ATL and many others Matthew has an ability to make Tai Chi and it's underlying philosophy relevant to our modern lives.  Particularly interested in the application of these ideas to leadership issues he has pioneered trainings which aim to catalyse meaningful and authentic behaviour.

A martial artist of the heart, Matthew is known for his willingness to connect with others via Tai Chi.
