Qualifications: Has been been boxing competitively since 1979. Won several amateur titles including the golden gloves, diamond belt and silver gloves. As a professional boxer, won the Pacific Northwest Jr. middleweight title, Canadian middleweight title, World Athletic Association middleweight title and World Boxing Council Intercontinental.

Personal History: When I retired from boxing, I began working with a physical therapist that was rehabilitating runners who had to stay in condition while their running injuries healed. I developed an upper body workout, using boxing moves, for these individuals. After that, a friend and owner of the famous Gleason's gym in Brooklyn called me up and stated that a gym owner in New York City wanted to try this workout for her facility. I'm blessed with an unbelievable wife and two equally wonderful sons.

Workout Philosophy: "Walk, run, jump, fly" which interprets to personal fitness being your evolution that you can see. Create a foundation for yourself. Be patient and then spread your wings. Just go.

Success Story: All are equal, from the person who reached their desired performance level to the individual who mastered a new jump rope maneuver in the middle of a class.
