Two complete Callanetics workouts. The faster-paced AM segment energizes, tones and strengthens your body. The gentler PM program reduces stress as it sculpts and shapes your muscles. Both workouts begin and end with very deep, total-body stretches. The morning program features a variety of pulsed toning exercises (e.g. pulsed leg motions of just one-inch for 50 repetitions). The evening workout is easier -- it has less toning and more stretches (including lots of torso rotations). Both segments were filmed in 1992 at the height of Callan Pinckney's popularity. They use a ballet barre, a high-back chair will work for most routines. ©1992.
