A unique mix of classic yoga and powerful martial arts movements. It's designed to build strength and agility while improving mental focus. You get two complete Budokon workouts. The first features very detailed instruction while the second does the same movements at a faster pace (with less teaching). Both programs begin with fairly “standard” yoga — well-cued sun salutations and lots of warrior poses. It's the toning-oriented martial arts segments that are distinctive. All lower-body focused, these intense/explosive kicks and punches are precisely programmed and very controlled (“punch, pause, punch, pause...”). It all ends with a short meditation to clear the mind and bring inner awareness. ©2004.
