Certified instructor description:
Sensuous, non-stop Latin dance moves energized by a motivating, on-stage drummer. You'll burn fat as you move to a fast-paced variety of different Latin steps — from classic merengue to “salsa funk.” Giselle Roque de Escobar who co-taught the “Zumba” videos, makes it surprisingly easy to follow with her clear cuing and consistent breakdown of each combo. You'll begin with the basics, then add arms, maybe some turns, a few tempo variations and finally some sexy hip movements (hey, even if you miss a couple steps, the motivating drum beat will carry you through to the next move). You also get bright costumes and a colorful set, which just add to the vitality and excitement. ©2003.
