Three high energy Latin dance techniques: Paso Fire, Salsa Sizzle and Samba Fusion. While these fast-paced moves are true calorie burners, they also keep your arms, abs and legs totally engaged. Each section is taught add-on-style.
After starting slowly with the basics, Karina and Kym quickly bring it up to tempo. Then they add in the complex choreography. Sometimes it's just simple arm swings, hip rolls and hop outs. Other times, it gets really interesting — "Cuban breaks with spot turns," "box steps with knee ups" and "Brazilian voltas" ("like you're using a hula hoop"). The instructors' cuing is always clear and non-technical ("here's where your core is switched on..."). Lively Latin instrumental music. ©2013.
