Debbie Rocker: Fitness expert Debbie Rocker is a former professional athlete and personal trainer. She has worked with such stars as Marcia Cross, Lisa Rinna, Rachel Hunter, Kristin Davis, Rod Stewart, and Courtney Thorne-Smith. Debbie is the author of the book Training for Life and was one of the original developers of Spinning. She was recently named the Yahoo! Health Expert for Walking and Fitness.

Level: Intermediate

Beginner: Just starting out, very overweight or haven't exercised in over six months.

Intermediate: Active in sports, dance or any regular exercise (2 to 3 times per week).

Advanced: Very active in sports or consistently work out four or more times per week.

Aerobics Impact: Mixed

Lower Impact: Both feet never leave the ground at the same time. This minimizes stress on your knees.

Higher Impact: Includes movements like jumps, hops and skips. Very high-impact is called plyometrics.

Mixed Impact: This alternates or combines the above styles.

Aerobics Choreography: Basic

Basic: The easiest to follow. It ranges from simple walking-style marches to sports and athletic movements.

Complex: More intricate combinations and patterns. They're ideal for people who like to dance.

Moderate: More interesting than Basic, less dancy than Complex.

Toning Emphasis: Lower Body

Upper body: Arms, chest and back.

Lower Body: Legs, thighs, hips and buttocks.

Abs: Abdominals (stomach), core and sometimes lower back.

Total body: Tones all three of the above muscle groups.

Product Description:

Beautifully filmed amid the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona, it's a mix of walking-style aerobics and dumbbell toning. It's an effective fat-burner because your heart rate stays elevated as you firm your muscles.

The first cardio segment features simple marches at varying speeds with lots of upper-body motions (e.g. cross-country arms).

The second boosts the intensity and variety by adding easy-to-follow kickboxing and calisthenic exercises. All the toning segments are standing — a balanced mix of isolated and multiple-muscle routines.

Like a skilled coach, Debbie's cuing is always friendly and supportive. For busier days, the DVD has a 30-minute workout version.

Requires 2 to 5 lb. dumbbells.
