It begins with fast-paced Vinyasa poses and then continues with slower body-part-focused exercises (all structured to achieve specific results using classic yoga exercises). The first section really flows — lots of quick pose-to-pose transitions. It includes some more challenging postures like “crow” (squatted forward, balanced on your hands). The abs and leg segments have more controlled, “mindful” moves. These sequences use carefully chosen exercises that precisely target a specific muscle group. The final section is a quiet, relaxing stretch. Denise's instruction is very thorough (and, as always, very enthusiastic). Pleasant set, quiet music. Segments can be played in any order. ©2007.
