Full Backcover Description
Craving a fit body and a soothed psyche? I've got just the thing – Fusion Flow. It's unlike any workout you've tried because it firms effectively, yet softens those stress pockets in your neck, shoulders and back. By using a unique combination of seamless yoga, calisthenics and meditative breathing, you'll get your heard-to-toe-toning – peacefully.
There is no equipment required, so you can do this workout anywhere, any time, and see and feel results fast. Get ready to cinch your middle, sculpt your upper body and tighten your tush and entire lower body. This workout feels like a warm embrace – not a round in the boxing ring (there are enough tough battles with everyday living – why invite that into your workout?) It's literally exercise disguised as poetry in motion. Now there's a great concept – so let's roll out our exercise mats and flow.
The STUDIO by Ellen Barrett workouts showcase fusion fitness, the coming of may disciplines at once, from Pilates and yoga to Ballet and sports conditioning. By doing this, we make more efficient and more enjoyable workouts that deliver a greater wellbeing. (Dare I say workout perfection? After 15+ years in the fitness trenches, I think so!)
Thanks for working out at THE STUDIO – enjoy Fusion Flow.

Certified instructor description:
An exceptionally elegant and fluid blend of dance, Pilates, yoga, ballet and fitness. It's a true “feel good” workout designed to boost strength, flexibility and gracefulness. Each carefully planned series features a connected sequence of exercises that just naturally flow together (“upper, lower and core — no muscle is ever truly isolated”). The routines range from athletic squats and dancers' pliés to yoga cobras and even one-handed “diamond pushups.” Ellen also includes short “oasis” segments — between-exercise pauses where you'll gently swing your arms or bounce your hips to relieve any tension. ©2009.
