Intermediate: Active in sports, dance or any regular exercise (2 to 3 times per week).
Advanced: Very active in sports or consistently work out four or more times per week.

Three complete workouts on one DVD, these programs were originally released as VHS tapes in 1984, 1989 and 1990. The moves and the music — not to mention Kathy’s “big hair” — all have a definite 1980’s feel. “Weight Loss Workout” is intermediate-level. It includes dumbbell toning, a blended aero/tone segment and mostly low-impact cardio moves (very energetic and playful). “Ultimate Video Workout” is inter/advan-level with lots of disco-style dance and higher-impact aerobics (e.g. jumping in place). It also has some unique standing balance/toning exercises. “Ultimate Stomach & Thighs” is done at various levels — the routines start easy and build to more intense (you can stop whenever you want). The abs program is all floorwork, a medley of varied crunches and curls. The thighs program includes standing and floor exercises — from squats and standing leg lifts to hydrants and on-the-floor side leg lifts. Requires 2 to 5 lb. dumbbells. ©1984, 1989, 1990.
