Find Your Balance Internationally acclaimed yoga instructor Rodney Yee helps you make small adjustments that provide amazing results. Learn how finding “core center” is the key to getting fit and finding balance in your body, your mind, your life.
LOWER BALANCE Rodney explains opposition – how using opposite movement creates balance in the body and mind. Using the same pose, he rotate the legs in opposite directions to awaken muscles and create strength and balance in the lower body.
BACK BALANCE In this section, Rodney uses the opposite actions of arching and rounding the back to find balance, build strength, and relieve any back pain.
INTERNAL BALANCE Using several different poses and twists, Rodney shows how creating a balanced feeling inside leads to feeling stronger and more fit on the outside.
BENDING BALANCE In this practice, you’ll work on alternating between opening the chest and back, achieving better posture and body alignment.
RESTORATIVE BALANCE Learn how to relax the body while keeping the mind alert. It’s the perfect remedy for daily stress.

Certified instructor description:
A unique program that features carefully selected sets of oppososing movements (e.g. forward/backward, internal/external). It's all designed to quiet your mind and balance your body by raising awareness of your "core center." The actual poses are familiar yoga classics like mountain, lotus, cobbler and eagle. But they're sequenced and cued to emphasize harmony and balance (e.g. an up/down cobra series or a downward dog forward bend/camel pose backward bend pair). The motions are controlled and slow, but also dynamic (Rodney calls the resulting symmetry "a beautiful dance"). The workout ends with a relaxing stretch. Filmed in a lush Hawaiian mountain/forest setting. A yoga strap is optional. ©2012.
