A powerhouse cardio step workout that uses 32-64 count choreography with an athletic flair. This workout demands maximum cardio output throughout the workout. The workout features high and low impact versions of the choreography throughout the entire workout, encouraging exercisers of all fitness levels to join in the fun. This workout includes a bonus stability ball workout that is designed to provide a quick cardio/strengthening workout for the entire body.

This DVD has multiple pre-mixes which utilize different portions of the choreography to better tailor the workout to meet individual fitness goals.

Sharon Money Twombly holds a Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy as well as a Masters Degree in Biomechanics. Sharon works as a physical therapist. Sharon has been a fitness model in over 25 fitness videos and has been featured in CIA 2704, 2604, 9904. Sharon is an ACE certified instructor and teaches fitness classes on the Main Line in the Philadelphia suburbs.

Level: Advanced

Beginner: Just starting out, very overweight or haven't exercised in over six months.

Intermediate: Active in sports, dance or any regular exercise (2 to 3 times per week).

Advanced: Very active in sports or consistently work out four or more times per week.

Aerobics Impact: Higher

Lower Impact: Both feet never leave the ground at the same time. This minimizes stress on your knees.

Higher Impact: Includes movements like jumps, hops and skips. Very high-impact is called plyometrics.

Mixed Impact: This alternates or combines the above styles.

Aerobics Choreography: Moderate

Basic: The easiest to follow. It ranges from simple walking-style marches to sports and athletic movements.

Complex: More intricate combinations and patterns. They're ideal for people who like to dance.

Moderate: More interesting than Basic, less dancy than Complex.

Toning Emphasis: Abs

Upper body: Arms, chest and back.

Lower Body: Legs, thighs, hips and buttocks.

Abs: Abdominals (stomach), core and sometimes lower back.

Total body: Tones all three of the above muscle groups.

Certified instructor description:

A solid step-aerobic workout followed by a unique stability ball aero/tone series. The first segment burns the fat; the second boosts the variety. The step moves are powerful and athletic with carefully designed transitions. Sharon Money Twombly teaches a basic pattern, then gradually removes the “filler” moves while adding hops, slides and directional changes. Next, she utilizes a slightly deflated stability ball for aero/tone intervals. The aerobic portions use the ball to add intensity (e.g. holding it overhead as you move). The toning intervals use the ball as a resistance tool (e.g. pressing it between your thighs while doing plyometric jumps). Songs include “Heart of Glass,” “All Things Just Keep Getting Better” and “Walk Away.” Requires a stability ball and one dumbbell. ©2008.
