Certified instructor description:
A mix of seated and standing movements specifically created to improve mental functioning (by keeping the brain active which fosters the development of new neurological pathways). The program has six different segments, each one utilizing a different technique. For example, “multitasking” is a coordination series where you're moving various body areas in varying sequences (e.g. left leg, right arm, right leg, left arm). Another section has you passing a book from one side to the other — a pattern that activates both hemispheres of your brain. Other exercises focus on balance, perception and eye-hand coordination. Friendly, supportive instruction by two experienced instructors. ©2010.
