Certified instructor description:
Two no-nonsense programs designed to reshape your entire body (they must work — at 49 years old, Valerie looks fit and fabulous). The workouts are structured as a progression — you’ll start with the begin/inter-level “Losing It” and advance to the slightly harder “Keeping Fit.” The first is all toning; the second includes some higher-impact, fat-burning bursts (e.g. jumping jacks, hops). Both programs are led by Christopher Ross Lane, Valerie’s personal trainer. He’s “results focused,” but always friendly and supportive with very clear cuing. The exercises are fast-paced and non-stop (no wasted time). They include a motivating blend of classic and new moves— from pushups and squats to rotations and side planks. The “Keeping Fit” workout uses 2 to 5 lb. dumbbells. ©2009. Note from Collage: This video was originally released as an all-toning program. The current version has a longer second workout that includes cardio intervals.
