Certified instructor description:

This two-DVD set features a varied mix of exercises and techniques. Gilad's straight-forward cuing is both friendly and effective — he always lets you know what to do and why (e.g. “now watch what happens as we bend …”). Both DVDs are divided into 8 to 10-minute segments; each one targets a specific area or uses a specific workout style.

The first program is all muscle toning. It “blasts” each body part with a no-nonsense medley of traditional, weight-room-style routines. The second workout includes newer training methods like Pilates, multi-planar and compound exercises. It also incorporates easy-to-follow cardio moves ranging from kickboxing to simple grapevines. Filmed on a sunny, oceanside deck. Requires 2 to 10 lb. dumbbells. ©2008.
