Qualifications: Spent time living in India with various yoga ashrams between ages 12 and 22. Received advanced certificate as a teacher of Ayurvedic and Ashtanga yoga.
Personal History: I started my teaching career in Los Angeles and quickly became a 'yoga trainer to the stars.' My clients included Helen Hunt, Raquel Welch, and members of the Kennedy family. In 1994, I started working with the Philadelphia Eagles football team. As their Peak Performance Specialist, I designed a program for the athletes aimed at maximizing performance, managing stress, and preventing injuries. Later, I opened my Power Yoga studio in Philadelphia and then moved on to Cambridge, Massachusetts, where I still teach.
