Personal History: I went to Georgia Southern College to participate in college gymnastics, but left after the first year due to lack of financial support for the women's teams (before Title IX!). Afterwards, I began teaching gymnastics, aerobics, and strength training. I'm a single parent of one son, Ian.
Workout Philosophy: Quality over quantity. By integrating movements of the upper and lower body while focusing on a strong core, you'll develop true functional strength to enhance your quality of life and enjoyment of everyday activities.
Sucess Story: Mrs. Cannon was an elderly client of mine in Canton, GA, who could barely get out of a chair when she started personal training. She started with a seated strength training programming and eventually progressed to standing strength and aerobic activities. Mrs. Cannon is proof that it's never too late to start an exercise program!
