Gloria Quinlan
Qualifications: ACE and AFAA certified. Technical advisor to international ESPN's "Totalamente en Forma" program.
Personal History: I was born and raised in Chile. After I left Chile, my husband and I moved to the Dominican Republic. I did not know anything about aerobics at that time (aerobics did not exist in my country in 1985-86). I fell in love with the idea of exercising to the beat of the music - how fun! - and I became a very enthusiastic participant. At the end of the 80's, we moved to the U.S. where I got a bigger exposure to aerobics and fitness and had the opportunity to teach a class. It was an unbelievable, growing experience for me. I started to go to fitness conventions and it was in one of these events that I met Charles Little and Donna Richardson, two people who have been influential in my professional life. Charles Little was the first person to give me the opportunity to present my work at a fitness convention. Donna Richardson, on the other hand, was the person who exposed me to the world of fitness videos (the first video I worked in was because of her). Fitness has now become a form of art that allows me to express my creative self through the classes I teach and it is an open door for the participants to explore new possibilities in movement. I have been married for 16 years and have a beautiful 6-year-old boy.
Sucess Story: "I work with many celebrities and I can honestly say that working with Gloria was an absolute pleasure. It is so rare to have talent be so flexible and consistently wanting to make sure the client is getting a wonderful return on their investment. She is rare! The client, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Pennsylvania, was very pleased and stated many times they would love to have Gloria back. As always, Gloria went above and beyond all expectations!" - Mary J. McKay, OC Sport & Entertainment, Dallas, TX.
