Personal History: LaReine Chabut is a best selling author & television personality whose latest gig is hosting MSN’s Focus on Feeling Better where she is seen daily taking on America one person at a time. Her multiple best selling titles include; Exercise Balls For Dummies (May 25, 2005), Lose That Baby Fat! (M. Evans, April, 2006), Stretching For Dummies (February, 2007), and Core Strength For Dummies (January, 2009). LaReine was recently voted “Top Ten Most Fit Moms Online” and in addition is the leading fitness expert for Fit Pregnancy magazine. She is most recognized as the lead instructor of The Firm, a series of popular workout videos that have sold over three million copies worldwide.
LaReine represents sports-giant NIKE and has worked with mega swimwear company Body Glove with multi-year contracts being featured in various International print and television advertising campaigns. As a model, she has graced the covers of such high-profile fitness publications as Shape, Health, New Body and Runner’s World, and has been featured in nationally prominent magazines such as Vanity Fair, Allure, People, Newsweek, Better Homes and Gardens, Quick and Simple, Self Magazine, Health Magazine, Cookie Magazine and Glamour. She has also appeared on The Dr. Phil Show, Chelsea Lately on E!, CNN, ABC, FOX News, EXTRA, Access Hollywood and Good Day LA.
As a writer and actress, LaReine penned a sitcom pilot along with Meg Ryan called Below the Radar for the Fox Network and Castle Rock Entertainment. LaReine has also co-written and starred in two short films: Separation Anxiety, which was broadcast on Lifetime Television, and Good Jill Hunting, which aired on the Sundance Channel and was screened at both the Sundance Film Festival and the Palm Springs International Film Festival. Her series regular and guest starring appearances on television include Chelsea Lately on E!, Nash Bridges, The Single Guy, Linc’s, Strange Luck, The Secret World of Alex Mack, USA High, Quantum Leap, Murder She Wrote among others and as the co-host of the cable sports show Perfect Fit with Paul Sunderland.
