Qualifications: Certified through Stott Pilates
Personal History: I was always a gym rat and loved to lift weights, but I discovered Pilates after a knee injury and absolutely loved the discipline. When I was little I loved gymnastics and swimming and then I had a six inch growth spurt and kept banging my legs on the uneven parallel bars! That led me to rowing which I loved in high school. When I headed off to college I headed straight for the leg warmers and the Jane Fonda classes. I loved their energy! Then I progressed to Spinning, personal training and Pilates and most recently hooping!
Workout Philosophy: I always say form first, strength second. You need to do the exercise right before you can see real changes. It's better to take a few weeks and build a base, you'll avoid injuries, look amazing and you'll fall in love with movement! My workouts are designed to progress right along with you based on time of exercise or with modifications for your level of strength.
Sucess Story: Bridget came in with a really bad back and sciatica from her job, she owns a Med Spa and treats clients all day, everything from lasers to facials and she was really stiff from the awkward position she frequently has to work in. We not only cured her of her back pain but she lost 4 dress sizes, and gained a whole lot of confidence!
