Qualifications: Certified by ACE. East Coast Alliance Best Female Presenter Award 2006. Completed Therapeutics and Anusara Yoga teacher training with John Friend.

Personal History: I have 10 brothers and sisters. I am from northern California. I grew up very overweight and chubby. I started exercising when I was about 13 years old and went from 212 pounds to 150 pounds. I've battled with weight and food issues all my life. I believe that dancing and working are what 'saved' me.

Workout Philosophy: Do what you love. Love what you do. But, please, do something!

Success Story: I have many beautiful emails from people from all over the world, but my two favorite stories are from my sisters. My sister, Denise, lost 180 pounds over the last one and a half years. She did it through diet, exercise, and life coaching with one of the Inten-Sati life coaches. My sister, Norma, who is also a dancer, has come full circle after battling a life-threatening illness - Scleroderma. Through the practices of Inten-Sati and her deep desire to dance again, she has been able to get her body from a loss of about 60% mobility back to 90%.
