    Hi Carol,

    Wow, you are a true survivor! I can relate as I’ve had my share of health issues and that’s why I designed functional fitness therapeutic style of exercises. Loved the results so much I just had to help other people with an easy, natural solution that didn’t require boot camp style moves to get great results. Because my job requires me to do a lot of medical research, I learned from recent studies that therapeutic exercises help people with kidney disease live longer. You would do your body good by going at a moderate pace, not a fast pace as it’s important not to over exert. A good DVD for you would be Total Strength and Conditioning as it has 3 programs: Vertical Ab Toner where all the ab toning moves can be done on a chair or standing so you never have to get on the floor and do a crunch. There’s also a leg strengthening workout which encourages you to go at YOUR pace and also has a seated level. There’s an arm workout with weights as well that can be seated or standing. You can interchange between the seated and standing level – depending on your tolerance level.     I am 74 and have worked out for 55 years. I have been sick since birth. I became disabled at age 44 and have always pushed thru it. I now have stage 4 kidney problems and fell and had a hip replacement. I have been on life support, have had spine surgery. I got back to six days a week at the gym doing step and spinning, I am trying to get back now and I did 30 minutes on a bike today and upper body weights today. Do you have suggestions on your classes for me to get back to my workouts. I am under weight I am a size 00 zero and weigh about 90 lbs.
