Nine of Gilad's 2005 TV programs on three DVDs. You get all his original energy and fun, without the annoying commercials. Each workout focuses on 2 to 4 muscle groups with very targeted body-sculpting exercises (only two programs have any cardio). All the workouts start with an active warm-up that often incorporates a toning element (e.g. abdominal torso twists or fast-paced lunges). That's followed by a diverse medley of traditional gym-style exercises. They range from matwork push-ups and ab curls to standing squats and bicep curls. The programs are all filmed on a sunny Hawaiian oceanside setting. Requires 3 to 8 lb. dumbbells; one workout uses resistance tubing. ©2005.
