Personal History: Ingrid has spent the last 8 years transitioning from a traditional career path in engineering and banking to one of a more spiritual type.  She started practicing yoga when she was six years old, and although she was active in other sports during high school and college, like swimming, diving, and tennis, her passion returned when she was transferred to Southern California in 2006 with the management consulting firm she was with at the time.

When she saw the yoga industry expanding, she immediately knew she wanted to be a part of it.  She started by getting her teaching certification, filling a teaching schedule of 15-classes a week, and producing her own dvds.  After two years, she was a senior teacher and manager of the premier yoga studio in Santa Monica for pre- and post-natal yoga, YoMama, and she took her two dvds, ‘Yoga for Families’ and ‘Yoga for Grandparents’, to the international film market in Cannes, France.

Currently, she is enjoying being back in Los Angeles after spending the last eighteen months in Switzerland.  When she returned, she found two loves of her life – first, her little Welsh Corgi mix, Maggie, and then her husband, Rod.  All three of them live in Playa del Rey.  Rod and Ingrid love following Maggie’s consistent lead with Downward Facing Dog.
