Two very different workout techniques: fast-paced power yoga and dumbbell-intensified yoga. Both programs combine Denise's legendary enthusiasm with a bright set and “fitness style” cuing (no mention of “chakras” here). The first workout features a varied medley of balance and opening poses. It includes lots of modifications and options (“remember, yoga is a personal practice”). The second program is a little harder. It adds a body-sculpting element with light dumbbells and some classic toning moves (e.g. Denise integrates bicep curls into a warrior pose). Requires 2 to 5 lb. dumbbells. ©2010.
