A well-sequenced mix of diverse exercises: high-reps/low-weights, low-reps/heavy-weights plus core-focused floorwork. It's a combination designed to build strong, lean muscles. The movement variety is huge — different reps, sets, tempos, planes and positions. You also get functional strength, core and balance routines (e.g. standing on one leg). This is a fast-moving workout; you won't slow down for a lot of breaks or instruction. It ends with a super-thorough flexibility and alignment series (these “functional stretches” could easily be done as a separate workout). Has premix workouts and an 11-minute bonus segment. Requires heavy and light dumbbells. A medicine ball is used, but dumbbells will work. ©2007.
