Qualifications: Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Certified personal trainer.

Personal History: I know first hand what it takes to make a lifestyle change. Through most of my childhood, I was overweight. It wasn’t until I began participating in sports that I started to see and feel the changes in my body. I started with martial arts and soccer. From there, I went on to play club level and junior level ice hockey, which gave me the opportunity to travel throughout the US and Canada. As a result of playing ice hockey, I not only looked and felt better, I learned how to make fitness a way of life. After I stopped playing ice hockey, I knew I wanted to get into some type of athletic or fitness related field. At the age of 18, I started working part-time as a personal trainer while going to college. What originally started off as a part-time job has now evolved into a career that I love!

Workout Philosophy: I believe that fitness is essential to getting the most out of life. You should to challenge yourself daily and “work hard, keep pushing, finish strong and have fun."

In just 2 months, Mike helped transform my body into one that I was proud of! I started working with Mike 4 months after I had my first baby and 2 months before my wedding, so Mike was faced with not only having to help me lose the extra “baby weight” but also having to get me into wedding shape. Besides wanting to tighten my tummy, I also wanted to target my arms since I was going to be wearing a strapless dress. That was a big task for me, since I have had an issue with my arms for as long as I remember. I hated the way they looked in pictures, and I have always wanted to cover them up. With the wedding set for Cabo, covered arms were not an option! Within a couple weeks, I could see a huge difference in not only my arms but other areas too: my stomach was flatter, my legs were thinner and more toned, and I started noticing nice definition in my back. I was also so much stronger than before! Mike kept me motivated during every workout, with different and very challenging routines, and was so much fun to work out with – the hour would fly by! I looked forward to each session. I worked out consistently before Mike, but I never saw the results I wanted. After working out with Mike, I now realize what an efficient workout entails, and that is something that will stay with me forever. I wish I could work out with him all the time!! He’s a real treat…you’ll LOVE him!!
