Full Backcover Description

Intensity is a 57 minute workout that mixes Cathe DVD favorites like Boot Camp, Imax, Plyo, and HiiT all in one workout. This workout screams with fun. Not only are you going to be jumping and pumping in every way imaginable, but you are going to find yourself reaching for this workout again and again. We’ve also designed this workout to be super versatile by including a boot camp bonus segment for those you want a little weights with their cardio. But there’s more – we’ve included nine premixes to give you tons of creative and time-saving options.

You’ll love how Intensity can be used in so many ways. Do it in its entirety for the ultimate challenge or just do any of the individual segments for a mini explosive workout for when you are short on time or just learning the routines! Only one piece of equipment is needed for this workout: a full-sized cardio club step.

Upper body: Arms, chest and back.

Lower Body: Legs, thighs, hips and buttocks.

Abs: Abdominals (stomach), core and sometimes lower back.

Total body: Tones all three of the above muscle groups.

Certified instructor description:

A truly high-intensity program that includes both step and floor aerobics. Nothing fancy or complicated, this cardio challenge is simply fast-paced and non-stop (even Cathe admits she's breathing hard). The step segment features constantly-changing choreography blocks — you'll do the combo just once and then move on. The moves range from “bow & arrow” and “reverse ricochets” to “power scissors” and “turn jumps.” The non-step section is pure high-impact fun — bunny hops, air jacks, “leap frogs” and “jump ropes” (in alternating faster/slower intervals). As always, Cathe's form is perfect; she's both encouraging and demanding (“you can do anything four more times!”). ©2010.
