Although boxing gloves enhance your workout intensity, they are optional in this workout. A Heavy Bag Bonus workout is offered for those of you that have a heavy bag at home.

Beginner: Just starting out, very overweight or haven't exercised in over six months.
Intermediate: Active in sports, dance or any regular exercise (2 to 3 times per week).
Advanced: Very active in sports or consistently work out four or more times per week.
Toning Emphasis: Total Body
Upper body: Arms, chest and back.
Lower Body: Legs, thighs, hips and buttocks.
Abs: Abdominals (stomach), core and sometimes lower back.

Well-structured progressions of linked kickboxing combinations. In addition to burning fat and building stamina; you'll also improve balance and agility. The first segment mixes high-powered jabs with traveling kicks and challenging athletic drills (e.g. plyo-jacks and "ice breakers"). The next section boosts the intensity and variety with alternating tempos, more directional changes and lots of new moves. The last segment features four different add-on-style combos. You'll do each part several times, then put them all together into smoothly flowing sequences. While this workout is fast-paced and often "intricate," Cathe's super-detailed cuing makes it doable. DVD includes a bonus 10-minute heavy bag workout. ©2013.
