Full Backcover Description
This multi-impact step workout never slows down! To the Max starts off with a solid and intense step workout that gets your heart fired up to prepare you for the explosive step Tabata drill. After you recover from that, you’ll raise your step height even higher and do cardio interval blasts along with metabolic conditioning drills. This segment consists of movement patterns both on and off the step, mixed with total-body explosive movements to ensure you have blasted off unwanted body fat and burned maximum calories. You’ll conclude with metabolic core conditioning and a well earned stretch. Varied step heights and hand weight selections are used to enhance intensity. A variety of premixes are included to deliver the workout that best suits your needs on any given day!
So if you’re ready for some serious results in the least amount of time, let’s get busy and take it To the Max!

Certified instructor description:
A fast-paced, non-stop program that features five distinct workout techniques (all carefully designed to keep you physically challenged and mentally motivated). You'll start with classic Cathe-style step aerobics — varied patterns of easy-to-follow, but super-tough, fat-burning. That's followed by a short Tabata section — 20 seconds of flat-out cardio followed by 10 seconds of "rest." Then it's high intensity interval training (HIIT) — similar to Tabata, but with longer "work" and "rest" sequences. The program ends with two different body-sculpting sections: standing and floorwork. DVD also includes two bonus Tabata segments: low-impact and gliding discs. Requires a step, a loop resistance band and multiple sets of dumbbells (e.g. 5, 10 & 15 lb.). A high step and gliding discs are optional. ©2012.
