Sweetie Pie

By introducing our children to juicing, we’re leading them onto a path of lifelong health. Getting them started couldn’t be easier than with this dessert-like recipe.

Yield: 1 Juice
Cooking Time: 5 Minutes
Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Ingredients:
  • 1½ cups red or purple grapes
  • 3 red plums
  • 4 dates, soaked and pitted
Instructions:
  1. Blend ingredients together.

Boost: For extra fiber, supplement with a teaspoon of ground flaxseeds. Add fresh ginger for spice and energy.

Benefits
Not only does this juice cleanse your digestive tract, but it also helps unclog arteries. Grape juice in particular helps remove cholesterol from your arterial walls and heart, reducing the risk of a heart attack or stroke. Purple grape juice also guards against cancer and viruses. This recipe is an excellent source of energy.
